Summer is here and so is the annual Amacon Mississauga Rotary Ribfest! Following last year’s great success, the 2021 Ribfest drive thru returned on June 25 – 27 at Erin Mills Town Centre.
Amacon has been a proud sponsor for Ribfest for the past 14 years and it has become a popular tradition for many families to visit the Ribfest hosted by the Rotary Clubs. During the previous event in October 2020, customers consumed more than 25,000 lbs of ribs!
The finger-licking BBQ ribs, chicken, pulled pork and other treats were served by vendors Billy Bones BBQ, Camp 31, Uncle Sam’s, Sticky Fingers, Tiny Tom Donuts and Ontario Corn Roasters. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Mississauga Food Bank and other Rotary sponsored charities. Previously, Rotary has donated over $1.7 million to charitable causes raised through this event.
